Question for fellow athiests

So don't you hate it when people say " Oh...you know the truth!"

It irks me soooo much! I just want to say. I do?

No one ever says that to me. I'd just say "You're right. I do"

and leave it at that.

Like she is sayin that I know deep down inside god is real lol

Like sarcastically saying you must know everything because you're atheist, or condescendingly saying deep down you really believe in God?

My thing is when they tell me I need to go to this church or I need to go to that one Or I haven't really converted .

I'd just say, "Yes, I know my truth". Because really, that's all that faith is- what somebody finds to be true for themselves.

Maybe? When we go down there to visit family though, I still don't have people say it to me. But I also don't go around telling people my views on religion.

I live in AL and I would never explain my beliefs to anyone around here either.
