Birth Control Help

I need help choosing a birth control. Lo is 2months and i first decided not to get any BC and just use condoms because after having my first baby, i got on pills and my body got messed up, from when he was 6months till 2months before i got pregnant with #2 (july '11) my periods would be heavy heavy bleeding, for more than 7days, i would get light headed, bad back pains, then spotting. I would basicly be bleeding and spotting for months and went to diff doctors and all they told me was i would never have anymore kids and BC messed my body up.
That was it till 2months before getting pregnant, i got provera and it helped. So with that experince, i chose to not get BC after having Lo but now im second thinking but i want to know which birth control you think is best, which works best for you. Im breastfeeding if this makes any difference with choosing birth control

I got the Mirena after I had my daughter. I loved it, best birth control I ever had. I had it for three years and only had a period the first month after i got it in. Only thing is I was no longer breastfeeding when i got it so i'm not sure if you can have that while breastfeeding. My doctor told me with this pregnancy if i plan on breastfeeding longer (which i do) that i am limited to pretty much condoms or birth control with out estrogen. (which i do believe you can get with the Mirena just not 100% sure) I would talk to your doctor and see if that is an option while breastfeeding. Its great!

Iud's are safe while breastfeeding. There's also the mini pill, depo shot, and the implanon rod.
I've had implanon for 3 months and haven't had any bleeding or other issues with it so far. It's good for 3 years too.
