we used to call our daughter squiggle when she was little and The bean since our first ultra sound looked like a kidney bean. Now she is bigger we call her Mouse or Angel. We still call her bean when we are talking about her to each other.

I don't because I'm weird about nick names.. (they bug me a little bit) .. but some others do have nicknames for my kids (which doesn't bother me too much because I don't see them often enough.. or they're funny).

My son's name is Lucas and one person calls him Lukie-Pie and another calls him Luka-bug (those are kind of annoying, but not too bad)..

My favorite was my dad's.. when Lucas was four, my dad regularly called him "SissyBabyPoopyPants" whenever he was being a big whiner or crybaby over nothing.. lol.. It may sound mean, but it actually made him stop whining/crying and he'd grin and say, "I am not! You're a SissyBabyPoopyPants!" and they'd go back and forth with that for a while like it was a fun little name-calling game. lol.

And my husband sometimes calls our daughter "Simmer" because her initials are SEMR.
