5 day old and 5 year old

hello ladies i just had my baby sunday she a girl her name is danielle she was 7lbs and 10 oz and 20 1/2 incs long   i have a five year old daughter named hailey (big sister) she dosnt realy seem like she taken a liking to her baby sister and starts to cover her ears and yells when the baby starts crying and she dosnt ever want to come close to the baby like shes keeping her distance and i try to get her involed with everything with the baby like feeding and changings and tummy time but shes just not havin it what should i do i dont what her to fell left out thank u very much for ur time

I'm are she will cone around. It's a big adjustment to her. Maybe you could show her photos of her as a baby. That helped my friend when she had her 2nd LO.

My brother and I are 5 years apart..I remember not liking him very much when my mom brought him home. I got over it though. I think it was because I got all the attention for so long I was used to it. I had to get used to sharing it. Hope things work out for you! I am sure she will you may need to give her time though  

This is what I'm so afraid of, my daughter just turned 5 and I'm due any day now. How was she during your pregnancy? My daughter has been great and such a big help (if I'm having trouble getting up she'll come help me, of Im having a contraction, she'll tell me of I need something to squeeze I can hold her hand) but if we're out and about and she hears a crying baby she acts like your daughter.

LOL i had my baby girl sunday!!! and my daughter took some time to get use to now she loves her she always ask me if she can sleep in her bed at night and of coures i say no lol but she loves her alot she helps with diper changes and bottle feedings do worry shell get use to the idea best of luck
