Paxil & breastfeeding

How many have taken Paxil while breastfeeding? anyone that has take paxil in general did you like it?

yes paxil it self may have been.its a trade name...the pharmacy actually gave a generic brand paroxetine.

I haven't taken it but it's supposed to be one of the safer antidepressants while breastfeeding.

Could you try Zoloft? I know that is safe during breastfeeding - I was on it for the first 8 months after I had my 2nd. I perfer 25mg over 50mg, as it took much of my personality away on the 50mg.

I took the generic for two years I loved it! It takes time to build up, I was not breastfeeding but I didnt have any issues with it at all I plan on going back on it after the baby is born. I was never on it for depression tho I was on it as kindof a mood stableizer I was a bitch and no one wanted to be around me!
