I defiantly want to keep the baby. I told my sister, she flipped. But I don't know what to do. Everything happens for a reason. & i'm going to take another test in a week. I'm missing my period. It's been four days. & I never miss my period..

There is no way you're one week. And what is up with your due date? I'm TTC and I'm estimated to O (tomorrow) Friday the 27th and my could be due date would be April 20th. Hmmm....

I have no idea about pregnancy? I've never been there before. My test came out positive? & I'm in high school. But why would I want to lie about something like this?

Then you are at least 4 weeks.

How do you plan to provide for a child?

sounds like you're about 4 weeks. when was your last period you can put it in a calculator and figure out the due date until a dating ultrasound

yup you're going to need to go to the dr a lot.

Start from the first day of your last period. Count back 3 months and add 7 days.

Babysitting and a min wage job are not going to cut it.

I made three bucks over min wage and I was struggling with providing for just me and Ev. I had to take a second job that pays $5 over min wage.

So it'd be march 30th.

okay so you're 4 weeks along. the link is from this site it explains some of what happens during week 4 of pregnancy

You count your pregnancy from the date of your last period, so figure out when that was, and you will know how far along you are.

As far as telling your parents, your going to have to tell them, it would be better to do it as soon as possible, so you can get medical care that you need for you and your baby. They will probably be upset, but not as upset as if you wait and try to hide it from them.

well okay, she obviously doesn't know how it works...
and we all know that you must be at least four weeks for the test to detect anything. So please stop talking about the damn one week comment!! Thanks.
She just needs advice.
The only way you should go about it, is telling them flat out, no baby is a mistake, your child will be everything and many things to you. You can do it. Just believe in yourself.
