Thank you. And I try to do only organic, and homeopathic anything for her. I make her food and give her Earth's Best organic baby food and rice cereal. So I have a really hard time finding teething solutions. I, myself, am not very good about sticking to strictly organic lol but I do with her. She has a very white spot on her gum where the tooth is coming in at, no sign of the tooth but she seems to be in a lot of pain. Someone actually told me to use peppermint schnapps!! The wash rag seemed to help last night, I have also been putting small round ice cubes in her little mesh taster thingy ( don't know what it's actually called) and she loves that. I just hate to see her in that pain, but refuse to give her tylenol or anything like that.

i had both my older kids off the bottle at 10 months and it was a easy trasition but a sippy cup at 5 months wow!!! lil syler can hold his own bottle for a short time but then drops its gonna try him for a sippy cup at about 10 months also

It was really hard at first! He refused it all the time! The only bottles he ended up taking were MAM bottles, with size 1 or 2 teats (3's were way too fast for him) We had to offer it to him asleep at first so he didn't actually realise he wasn't having boob! Then slowly offered it to him as he was more and more awake, a few times I had to breastfeed him then quickly slip the bottle in his mouth before he realise something changed! The transition only took a couple of days, once he realised really that he can eat from a bottle he loved it and now takes them during the day, maybe having one breastfed. The bottles came with a sippy handle and soft spout that you can put on instead of the teat so will transition him over to sippy once he's been on a bottle for a while!
He's taken to it really well, the bottles I got were anti-colic so he hasn't been gassy at all, no upset tummy/constipation etc, but part of that has to do with the fact we're still breastfeeding during the night! Plus the formula I'm using is really good, its the one that's recommended over here for breastfed babies moving onto formula as the carbs and make up is very similar (obviously not the same but as close as your gonna get) so he hasn't had a tummy upset. He's even still having breastfed poops, so the proof is there its good stuff

Happy new years everyone! Just wanted to update and show off my little man   I can't believe how big he is now. He is sitting up a lot better on his own and is now eating cereal, sweet potatoes and bananas! He is starting to get teeth coming in and is drooling like a mad man. This picture is of Matthew visiting and helping his daddy out at work! Hope all of your little ones are doing great.
