re: JULY 2012 BABIES!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Hope all the July babies had a good first Christmas. Zack loved it, he had more presents than everyone put together, including a baby walker which he love!! Will post some pictures soon in his little elf outfit  

so my little man decided to suprise me today. He hasnt shown any interest in sitting up by himself then all of a sudden he is just sitting there without any help from me. He is getting so big.

He's so cute...i love that picture with the lights wrapped around him. Adan ate his fair share of wrapping paper too. It was so much fun watching him

He has baby food maybe once a day, but if he doesn't seem interested we don't push him. It usually helps if we're eating too at the time. We skipped cereal and went straight to baby food or mushed veg. If he still doesn't fancy baby food I might try baby led weaning with him when he's 6-7 months old.
Still breastfeeding but only at night time now   I go back to work in about 2-3 weeks so we've put him on formula during the day. I don't wanna give breastfeeding up completely because of all the goodness and I can't be bothered to get up and make up a bottle so we're still breastfeeding at night, will do that for as long as he wants  
From the 10th though when he's 6 months I'll start introducing more food, but I won't push him, I've always been told formula or breastmilk should always be the main part of their diet until they're a year old so will continue to feed him that. We have follow on formula milk here, it has all the nutrients they need from 6 months, like extra iron, but without increasing the ounces they need to leave room for first foods so I'll be switching him to that at 6 months!
Don't worry about all the questions   I'm constantly asking moms myself!
