That's how it is here only it's with my dad. He blames the fact that he was never really a dad to me because he didn't have one growing up. All he does is fight and argue with me when he's a had a few drinks. Then he goes on and on about how he hates SO. He knows it bothers me more than anything else but he doesn't care. Idk how, but I'm getting out of this house. Maybe I'll meet someone who wants to be a roommate when I go to college.

She sounds like my mom. Smurfing 53 years old and acts like a damn child. She lived with me and DS for a few years. I paid for almost everything while she blew her paychecks at the bar. She can't keep a job because she calls off work constantly to hang out with some loser. Then she cries about being unemployed  . When I moved in with SO, I didn't even tell her. I just packed my smurf and left after paying my half of the rent for the month.

I hope you can get out of there soon. Your child doesn't need to be around that smurf. Trust me, it's not good.

Have you looked into help with housing? Support groups that help young mothers with finding a job or a better job? Smurf like that?
