spina bifida 9 months old!

my first child was born with spina bifida! he hasnt needed any surgery. hes doing really good. anyone else with spina bifida babies?

i have spina bifida.

i didn't find out until i was 16 y/o

it's called spina bifida occulta.

his doctors said hes doing greeat(: he doesnt have anything else besides the tethered nerves and the sak. but hes crawling about to start walking and everything. we go every 6 months to do ultrasounds on his bladder and to get him catherized. his is called mylencociole.( sorry cant spell it right lol)

i'm not sure what that is. :/

but mine basically is nothing. I didn't even know i had it until I was 16, and the only reason i found out was because i went to the chiropractor for neck problems and he did an xray and saw it there. He causes me no pain or anything   lol

well thats good and its just another type of spina bifida. his nerves are tethered and pulled into a fatty tissue sak on his lower back!
