How to say "i love you"

My husband and I have had our issues lately... But in the end he really comes through and really steps up and shows me he's in this for the long haul. I love my husband dearly, and I feel so bad that I haven't been good at showing him lately.
I need some ideas on how to really make him feel special and loved... I know that this is lame and that I should be able to think this up on my own... but I just need some help on how to really let him know how much I appreciate him and what he's done lately.
I am currently not living at home, but hopefully that will be resolved this weekend- I have just been out of a car since my auto accident a couple weeks ago, and I have work here, so i have stayed with my parents. I have gone home for a few nights, and we have worked on the house together and stuff... but I want to make sure that I show him and tell him how great he is as soon as I next have the oppertunity.
He's been feeling really down and stressed out lately too... So I need to cheer him up and let him know that I am there for him...
