re: How to say "i love you"

posted 13th May
I like to write my husband a love letter every so often after he's gone to bed. And I put it where I know he'll see it first thing in the morning, like taped to the fridge door. I tell him how awesome he is, how much I appreciate all he does for our family, how amazing of a father/husband he has been to us, etc Then when he gets home I'll have the house spic and span, have made his favorite meal. Along with baking him his favorite dessert (usually brownies..lol) And after dinner and dessert, I seduce him! Do all kinds of things he loves that I usually don't feel up to doing or trying and rock his world! Works every time! He loves all the thought put into it and since he's such a stickler about spending money, he knows it barely cost anything..just my time and love

My hubby is not a touchy feely, lovey-dovey kind of guy, so if I want to show him how much he means to me and how much I appreciate him, I make him his fave meal and dessert, then give him his fave activity... Dress up, little dancing and, um, personal attention (he usually does not get that much LOL) then I just tell him I love him and appreciate all he is to me and all he does for his family.

My hubby and I were seperated recently and I have found that the thing that helps us is one on one time, like without the kids. We would go out and have fun and try to focus on us and not the kids. I also would leave little notes for him and text him for no reason but to say I love you. We are now more lovey than ever. As soon as my hubby gets home from work he gives me a kiss and hug and the kids too! I try not to bombard him with how bad a day I may have had right away either because sometimes I think he thinks I am bitching at him.

After we had the twins our marriage suffered very badly. I was totally all mommy and never paid any attention to him. Which I know dosen't apply if your baby is not born yet but this time I know to make sure my marriage isn't put on the backburner.

Thanks for all the ideas   I think I will be cooking a dinner for him on Saturday when I get home
I would play dress up and whatnot- but seeing as I am aobut ready to pop and look like a weeble wobble, I don't think it would be all that great for either of us. LoL.
I will write him a nice note and try to get some one on one time with him- I'll even hand over the remote control

LOL Ya never know, ya might be surprised at how sexy he finds you no matter how close to popping you are... If its not on the top of your list to go down that road, then a little personal attention goes a long way... LOL Then again, the remote might do it LOL Lucky, I am not allowed to touch ours   LOL

hahaha, exactly- I am ROTUND to say the least... and today I stepped on the scale at the doctor's office to discover that I have gained 14 lbs this pregnancy... I thought it was waaaaay more than that.
Good thing the doctor let me know that I have only about 2 or 3 weeks left.
Then I am freeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Whooo hooo! I won't teeter back and forth as I waddle around my house. HOPEFULLY I won't waddle anymore. Its so uncomfy!
