Solids question

posted 24th Jul '12
My LO is 5 months old, she has been on rice cereal for reflux from about 3 months, just once a day, and we started replacing the cereal with real food over the last week, just pureed apples, pears, pumpkin etc. We decided to do this because she was taking to the cereal so well, she watches us when we eat an moves her mouth, so we figured she was ready. When do you start giving solids twice a day? Or should I keep it to just once a day till shes a bit older?

After 4 months I think? I don't really remember. Between 5-6 months he was eating all kinds of pureed fruits and veggies 2-3 times a day.

She took to it really well, and it helped with her reflux alot, she still has bad days but overall it got alot better when we started the cereal
