how do i put baby on diet

my dr said i need to cut down on his formula intake. but he screams until i give hiim more. hes 6 months and 29lbs. is that too heavy?

You don't put babies that age on a diet. If he's has solids cut them out but don't take his formula away.

The diet. I didn't think babies under a year were supposed to be on a diet or watching how much they consume.

First, you fire your pediatrician.
Then you find a new one and feed your kid as much as it wants. WTF it's a baby not a dog.

DD will be 2 in September and weighs about 23 lbs last I checked. She is petite, though. I don't know anything about diets with kids, so I'm of no help there.

My LO is 14 months old and 21lbs.... yes, you have a big baby. But I couldnt imagine putting a baby on a diet.

Oh god yes hes to heavy! And a baby should get 32ozs of formula a day.. Thats 24 hours!... I give my DS four 9ozs bottles and cereal for breakfast a can of fruit and veggies for lunch and super but alot of the time I just give him one can.
My LO is 6 months and he weighed 19lbs at his check up!! I know all babies are different but my lord lol.. When was he born and how much did he weigh??
