while in the hospital

while in the hospital i have been told by several of my friends that they make the dad do a dna test how do we by past that.. we know the baby is his.. and we dont want to deal with the freaken law?? anyone have to do that? how did u get out of it?

idk i live in the USA and i know they dont do that here. so idk

You dont have to do a DNA test, unless you ask for one i believe. the hospital i was at never did one....

My BD just had to sign the paternity affidavit, saying he didn't want a DNA test and that in the future hes legally responsible for our son, and all that jazz.

Wouldn't that be illegal?

Dont have to do that here, its not really anyone elses business if your partner is babys daddy or not.. Just if hes not then he shouldnt sign birth cert that all

That's the default location for all new members. lol

they will ask you if you need one done, but its not mandatory

I had 3 of my kids in Indiana and never even heard of this. I think you guys will be alright.
