Severe pressure

For the past week 1/2 or so I've been feeling severe pressure down in my crotch and butt area like I have a bowling ball between my legs and it's had me worried because I'll be 32 weeks on Friday. Well today I had a Doctor's apt. and I let him know of what was going on and he measured my belly and noticed my uterus was a bit on thelarger side and when he checked me down below he said my cervix was closed but the baby's head was right there.. The baby had already dropped. He told me he'd be setting up an ultra sound apt to check on the baby's side. He had said that it was too soon for her to drop that low... My question is, have any of you ladies experienced this and if so, did you go into labor soon after or were you able to carry to full term?

my son was as low as he could be at 7 months. And he ended up being a week late. It was just extremely painful. Sorry I know how you feel!

My baby is low and has been my whole pregnancy. She is now even lower, and at my doc appt last week from feeling on my belly both my doc and agree that she is head down. I do feel alot of heaviness and pressure, but I have had it since I was about 20 weeks b/c she has been so low. I haven't been checked internally though since 22 weeks. She has been measuring small though.

Oh okay.. Yea, I'm in constant pain and nothing's helping!
