If it meant feeding my kids, I would have to. Luckily for my personal situation, that wouldn't likely be an issue we would have to face. We are fortunate to have a nice safety savings net, places we can cut spending and my current degree makes me highly employable.

If that meant that is what she had to do to provide for her child, I'm sure she would. But I wouldnt say she would apply and live off it and just consider herself a SAHM. She would actively seek employment. I'm sure she is talking about not needing it and applying....
