They're awesome. Ours has never been caged, we're exploring not caging the new one either, but she has been in a cage in the past. Our males "kingdom" is filthy and needs taken apart and cleaned, but here they are the female(Sadi) is up top and the male (Kingston) is on the bottom

My Kale wasn't caged either. I love it when they're free.. and their Kingdom is awesome haha.

Thank you. Our male is hilarious, he barks like a dog, and can beep like the microwave. I'm sure what type of things the female does yet, as she's still adjusting. Is yours a hatch-ling or a rescue?

My lorikeet was just from a pet store.

My Conure is coming from a private breeder, s/he'll be a baby.

I'm leery on getting them from pet stores, especially here, people here are mean to birds. Kingston came from a breeder. Sadi is a rescue, but only because we know the person that had her. Hopefully your two get a long together. I had to google to see what the lorikeet looks like, they're really pretty.

i was on petfinder and i saw some blue and gold macaws.... are they still super expensive to adopt? id prefer a hatchling but i wouldnt know whwer to start ==[

Lol. Kingston likes playing peekaboo under the blanket when he climbs up the couch. I so much rather have birds than other animals, they have so much personality.

I'm not sure, I've never had or looked for Macaws they're too loud and big for me. I really want an African Grey, but holy christ they're a fortune. To find hatchlings you'd have to find a breeder, I'm not sure how easy that is in your area.
