My t.v. is on most the day. Usually it is used as background noise so I can't really gauge the amount of time they actually watch it.

It depends. Some days nothing, some days a 2 hour movie. He'll go weeks without watching it too.

She only actually SITS DOWN and watches while she eats, and if she's tired. Other than that, she plays with her toys.

depends on the day... if its a crappy rainy day we obviously spend more time watching tv... most of the time he likes having it on, but is busy playing and not paying much attention to it

My daughter STILL only gets 1 hour of tv a day and she is 15 years old.

She was allowed 30 minutes a day until she was 10 or 11.

Eh, the tv has cartoons on all day but he doesnt just sit there and watch it. We play, he runs around like a crazy man, we go outside, and then sometimes he'll stop for a few and watch tv.

Typically it is on because someone is watching it but usually they are running around playing so they don't really watch it much.

Why is there no option for 1-2 hours? :/ my daughter watches a couple episodes of Dora a day but I don't mind because she's learning so much. She's 2 and can count to 10 in spanish, and say words like up, down, lets go, etc in spanish as well and she uses them properly. She's also learning colors and shapes

Same with DD. I've been trying to cut it back more to work with her speech, but daddy likes to put it on so he doesn't have to watch her.

Because 40 minutes is almost an hour.

There's a pretty big gap between 40 minutes and 2 hours lol

some days he will watch for two hours in the morning while I sleep on the couch with him lol. The child wakes up at 7:30 every morning.
