Abortion pill question

I have a couple questions, if you've taken the abortion pill and could answer them that would be awesome.
I'm scheduled to take it on Friday at 10 am. I'm just really nervous. I had the surgical procedure done last time and was given the option of anesthesia type medicine so I remember nothing of it.

What was passing the tissue like? Not pain wise, but what did it look like?
What do they do in the office during your visit?
How long did it take to stop bleeding?
They told me not to eat or drink any dairy products beforehand because that could make me nauseous, does anyone know why?

I took it. The tissue that I passed was the size of a softball, seriously. In the office they just took a pregnancy test, and did an ultrasound to confirm. I wasn't told not to have any dairy products so I'm not sure about it. I bled for about two weeks after. The entire day I took the pills i was in bed. Good luck, hun.

Depends on how far along you are. A friend took it a few months back. She was out of work for three days and said it was like the worst period ever. I don;t know about the other questions because I never asked her. Good luck.

The clots just look like normal clots. I dont remember how much I bled or for how long.

They did an us and gave me meds.. and that was it.

How about your follow up appointment, did everything pass normally?
I hope recovery time is fast but I've taken two days off work and asked my mom to spend the day with my son on the day of my appointment

You might want her to take her the next day too. You are going to have contractions the second day after you take the second set of pills...

I was told it was normal, and everything went fine at my follow appointment everything had passed. The next day I was completely fine and back to normal besides the bleeding, it was just the actual day I took the pills that I couldn't do anything besides sleep, or try to through the contractions.

I know. I wish you the best. I really wish that someone had told me that it would ahve lasted all day... and I wished I had asked my mom to take him overnight. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

My best friend had one awhile ago around 7 weeks and she said she was just cramping and nauseous. I think she bled for 2 weeks.

After the first set of pills (Mifeprex) nothing happened for me. I spotted a tiny bit and had a back ache. The real deal came after the second set of pills you take 2 days later. A half hour after I took the second set of pills I started gushing blood. None of my clots/tissue passings were bigger than a blueberry though so far. Im currently still bleeding (I took round 1 friday, and round two yesterday). As far as the office visit... I had to do a urine test, ultrasound, and counseling. Then a pap to make sure the pregnancy wasnt tubal and then i was given the pills. My doc also started me on an antibiotic to take for a week as a precaution. PM me if you have any questions.

I worked everything out with my mom to keep an eye on my son for a few days after while I'm recovering, she's going to come stay with us  

I was really early less then 5 weeks. I only bled for 3 days,and it was very easy and light. I was scared it didn't work cause the process was so simple. I don't know if was just my experience or if it was cause I was so early.

That's really nice of her. I completely understand just wanting it to be over with. I felt the same way. My daughter is two and i'm a nursing student, I just could NOT imagine adding another baby into the mix right now. I also didn't have any help with my daughter during this process and it really wasnt that bad, so i'm sure with the help it will be smooth! Best of luck.  ) Make sure you follow their aftercare instructions (no baths/swimming, no sex/douching, use only pads, etc and watch for fever!) I've heard of a lot of girls getting pelvic infections from having sex too soon or using tampons for the bleeding.

Yeah there will be no sex here, I'm off men haha.
I'm just going to take it easy and rest I'm just nervous. It kind of scares me but I think a lot of that is the hormones.
