Falling?

I do not need to be preached to about abusive relationships and how I need to get out. I know that abuse is wrong and plan to fully stay away from him, but yesterday the father of my baby became mad like I had never seen before and punched me around the shoulder area. I spun around and landed in the floor. I'm pretty sure my elbows broke some of the fall. I have felt my baby move several times and everything still feels normal. Is there a chance something is wrong?

Why didn't you go to the ER? Your elbow could have something wrong with it.

i woulda stabbed him in his dick when he fell asleep!

nothing feels hurt and no bruises are really visible. i tried taking him to court a while ago for grabbing my arm and not letting go. his grandma testified that it never happened and they dropped the charges. so, the last thing i'm going to do is go run and tell people what he did. i'm just wondering what kind of symptoms i might have if the baby weren't ok?

A friend of mine fell when she was pregnant while she was walking her dog... She said she continued to feel the baby move so she didn't go to the doctor. When she had her next check up and told the dr about it, the dr said she should have called them right away.

Sometimes after a fall they want to moniter you in case of placenta abruption, which I only know because I tripped on the stares at 37 weeks and had to be monitered for 4 hours, even though I didn't land on my belly. gl

Just go to the hospital.
1, they'll check you over and make sure your elbow is ok, and check that baby is ok.
2, they usually ask if there are concerns of domestic abuse or if you feel safe in your home. TELL THEM THE TRUTH. for your sake and the baby's

Yes, they could. And better safe than sorry when it comes to pregnancy

why are you with him if he is abusive? and what are you going to do if he doesn't change when the baby is born? a friend of mine was in a similar situation and actually had her baby taken away =/

I would go just in case. I know women that have fallen and even though they didn't land on their belly ended up going into labor early from the shock or whatever the fall caused. I fell a couple weeks ago and went straight in my ob was really happy i went in right away. Everything was ok but i felt better knowing for sure she was ok in there. Even though it may cost some in gas it is worth it to make sure your baby is ok. Hope it helps   and hope everything is ok.

Were not together. I said no preaching. He shows up at my apartment randomly despite the protection order I have on him. He's already been to jail.
