My little man in his cloth!

posted 21st Jul '12
My litte man is getting so big!! He's pulling himself up on everything and climbing up stuff. Still doesn't care too much about walking but that's fine : ) He's 14 1/2 months old (12 1/2 adjusted) and the happiest little boy ever. He's still only 16.15lbs but he's just small for his age : )
We started doing cloth diapers last month and it's been awesome! I'm loving the money we're saving and it's much needed too!
Here he is last night at bath time playing with the water while I was filling the tub
And here he is with his mohawk : )

Thanks for looking!

Super cute fluff!

Shanaddy: We didn't start doing cloth diapers until later either. Here's a guide that may help you. http://www.diaperjungle.com/cloth-diaper-guide.html I was so lost at first too... then I started using them... and even started sewing my own.

It's going really well! I didn't start until he was 13 months either : ) I have a girl on FB with great prices and I've been added to tons of swap pages and stuff. I'm just venturing into the nightime CDing so hopefully that will go well : ) I love the disposable inserts too, makes things super easy when someone else watches him or when we travel : )

See, I was kind of concerned about SO with it, and MIL will be watchin DD about 3 hrs a week while Im in class. I think I will invest in some and see how how it goes. Any recommendations on brands/styles?

Well my husband doesn't change diapers, period. And I've got DD switched to pull ups but it's still a lot the same so I told him when he starts changing he can have an opinion on the dipes lol.
I have FuzzziBunz, GroVia and Charlie Bananas and just ordered AlvaBaby, Sunbaby and Babyland to try. I love all the ones I have so far but for other people watching your DD I'd say Grovia because you can get the kind that you just chagne the insert (they snap in)
I also like the pocket ones. Tonight I'm trying a pocket with 2 inserts to hopefully avoid leaks during the night lol
