gift ideas for 1 year old boy with $100 budget

i'd appreciate any ideas for this.
it's for my nephew, he's having his 1st bday party on saturday  

i'm flexible on the budget, too

We want one so bad. They are awesome!

He's one. I'd go for new experiences rather than things. Take him to a farm, take lots of pictures of him feeding the emus, or do something special that you want to do. Yeah, get a cake and invite family. That's all you need to do. Just make it a special day. Things don't matter to a baby.

I see that it's your nephew, so you do actually want to get him something. How about a collapsible tunnel? My kiddo LOVED that thing at one. But then, he also loved a soft blanket inside the laundry basket. Babies are easy.

Build him a sand box! It's easy and cheap. We built one for our daughters first birthday and she's right to it every time she goes outside. Get some 2 by 4s make a floor, sides, & some little triangle seats in the corners. (Plus, we put black plastic in the bottom of ours.)Then find a place that sells play sand by the truck load. We payed $25 for a whole TON of sand! Enough to overflow a 6' x 6' sandbox - 20" deep. As long as you have a truck though, because they delivery fees are ridiculous.. but it's endless fun for all ages.  
But if he already has a sand box, I'd get him a wagon. Wagons are awesome!

My son's preschool has the water/sand table it is great for sensory play.
