Moms who smoke weed.

I am honestly curious about this. If you smoke weed (not medically necessary/not prescribed), and for this hypothetical situation, lets say you have a teenager.. Do you let your teenager smoke too if they want to? Or if you were to catch them smoking would you care?

I wouldn't mind. I would feel even better if they were there with me rather than out with friends.

Personally i dont smoke weed however my mother does she has done it since she was a teenager,

My mom always said to my brothers and i dont smoke dont do drugs ect even tho she smokes weed upon a daily basis. I hate the fact that my mother says that cause her mom (my grandma) got her into smoking weed.

My BD said that he doesn't mind smoking around our son and wants him to be 'educated' on the subject of smoking weed. And if he's a teenager and smoking... well it's better than drinking!

 

I wouldn't smoke with them. And I'd be kinda pissed I they brought it to my house. Teens smoke and experiment. But I won't smoke with them or anything

Well I don't smoke but my mom use to. and she would smoke with my brother when he was a teen. I think it is a better here than else where kind fo thing. Also my om always said she rather we smoke weed then drink.

I don't think I'd care, per se. But it depends on the age. I want my child[ren] to be educated on the subject and make informed decisions. I didn't start smoking until after I was out of high school. I know that's a lot to ask. If I caught my 13 year old smoking I'd be more upset than if I caught my 17 year old smoking. And if they're a good student vs rebellious douche.
I don't plan on smoking with my kid[s] until after they're out of school, period.

I will not smoke with my kids until they are old enough to really understand it. I'm not a closet smoker, but I'm also not really a fan of the idea of getting high with my kids. There are other ways to "educate" your kids on the subject. My dad was an open smoker, but didn't smoke with me until I was 19 years old. I'm taking the same approach as he did.

My mom smokes with my 17 year old brother and 16 year old sister. It makes me nauseous to think of her doing that, let alone with them.

I would rather my son with me than out with friends. This would be a hard situation for me only because it is illegal. I wouldn't want my son to get in trouble for it. If it was legal, I would not care one bit. I would MUCH rather him smoke than drink.

I won't condone it, but I won't totally freak out over it. I know how it goes.

I would rather they smoke weed over cigarettes.

I personally have nothing against smoking weed. If or when my kids decide to smoke weed I will teach them that they need to be responsible.

I would never condone smoking weed or encourage it. I won't flaunt the fact I smoke weed in front of him or let him know if I can help it. At a certain age, I'll probably tell him, or if he asks, I won't lie to him. But, as far as finding out if/when he does himself...There's a lot of variables that could change my reaction..depending on his age, attitude, behavior, etc. I also hope by the time DS would even think about weed, it'd be legal. But, I don't want my 13-15 year old smoking weed and I'd probably have an issue with it and let him know it's not cool. Especially if it's legal and he's gotta, "Hey Mister" to get it. If he's older than 16, I'd probably discuss it with him and tell him he's gotta be responsible.

I would never smoke with him until he's an adult, definitely.
