WE found out today that the little girl we wanted so badly isn't to be...

We are 100% having a boy....this is number 4 for my husband and number 2 for me....I feel horrible because I'm not as excited as i think i should be....I just really wanted a little girl

I feel you!! My husband has two boys from his previous marriage, they live with us and everything. So i was hoping and praying for a little girl. But we are having another stinking boy.. People always say to be thankful that he's healthy. Well of course I am, but who's hair am I gonna braid? And if I put a dress on him, people will look at me funny... lol  

I really thought I was having a girl too...And come to find out it is 100% boy too... I cried..hhahah Its not like I will not love my little boy just as much as I would if he were a she...Its just like everyone tells you your getting a pair of shoes for Christmas and you think ohh I am getting Heels and you open them up and there boots...Not what you had expected..a little bummed out...but when you put those boots on they are thebest...Yeah our babies are not shoes but you shouldnt feel bad for wanting a girl..it doesnt mean you wont love your little boy!

I understand you on this one. This time around everyone kept telling me I was having a girl. I kept saying I didnt care as long as it was healthy (secretly wanting a girl oh so bad). But no Im having another boy, which I always knewin the back of my mind butyeah.

Don't worry mama. Your boy will be a joy!

I know how you feel, we thought this one was going to be a boy and it turned out to be a little girl, you just have to try to push those negative feelings aside, but its normal to feel that way.

I wanted a boy so bad...but I knew it would be a girl and sure enough it's a girl. Surprisingly now I'm over the moon about the idea. In fact if she were to somehow grow a penis between now and the next ultrasound I think I might cry.

Congrats... Me and my husband wanted a boy sooo bad. Being that we already have a daughter, but god had different plans for us. Now we are having two girls. lol. I got over it and I am happy now. I am just so scared that in a few years when we try again I will have another girl. lol. My husband would probably cry.

i feel you. im stil la little bummed that this baby is another boy, but i know that will change when i hold him in my arms. its so hard when you want one over the other.
