Sweetpeace Infant Swing

posted 13th May
So I found this swing that i thought was pretty awesome. But about half the reviews say its a piece of crap. I was wondering if any of you ladies purchased this swing and what your thoughts on it are. I attatched a link to the swing. Thanks!!!

Yup we have a SweetPeace Swing, and although I haven't had my baby yet I can tell you it's worth it! Sometimes when I can't sleep at night, my husband will bring it into the room and turn on the womb sound, and we're both out in 5 minutes...Just watching it swing makes me sleepy...

I bought it, haven't used it yet but it looks like it will be super comfy! The only thing I think is weird is when you take the seat off, it doesn't balance very well so I'm not sure how well it will do sitting on the floor.

i bought one about 2 weeks ago (i haven't had my baby yet). i heard the same things as you, like it was a piece of crap and stuff but decided to get it with the buyer protection plan from babies rus just incase anything happened. i put it together the night we brought it home, and the motor is a little bit loud which isn't that big of a deal because the sounds that come with the swing (womb sounds, nature sounds, songs) will drown out the sound of the motor. the only real big problem i have with it is when it's on the highest swinging setting, it seems to exert too much force and it bangs really hard into the side, which makes it look really unsturdy and unsafe b/c it looks like a baby would just fly out of it. if it does that even with the weight of my daughter in it, i'm calling graco for a refund. other than those two things, it seems to be a really great swing.

the papasan swings are good, whichever, just not the starlight or butterfly garden swing cuz the motors suck!

when Robert was first born even the lowest setting made it look like he was about to fly out... the manual said to put a blanket over him or under him to add weight... now he's almost 4 months and even the highest setting is fine.

if the highest setting is too fast even with your daughter in it, don't use it. The highest one is strong since some babies are fat

The lowest setting might be a little harsh right at first... just use a blanket like it says. It's fine.

the reviews are crap!
alot of them say the motor is loud. Mine is pretty darn quiet compaired to my son's papasan swing 3 years ago.

another complaint is it stall: No it doesn't! It has a natural rythm that mimics you rocking your child. it does have a lull to the swing but, that's because it's not a regular back and forth motion.

the speaker and the music that comes w/it are amazing! I love the rainforest track. I wish I could put it in my room and turn it on when i can't sleep.

It's def 120% worth the money. It took my daughter about a month or so to like it but, now she falls asleep in it.

my daughter is 9 weeks and we keep it on 1 or 2. i think the higher settings are for larger babies

just an update. I have piper in it now and she's squaking and cooing at the little bear that hangs from the canopy. My son keeps thinking she's crying because, she never makes that much noise unless she's upset.

she loves it!
