To the doctor for my strep b test... I hope they check me for dialation today!

I didnt get checked at 35, but all docs are different! if you ask them too then they will though!

They checked me when they did that test. I suppose its convenient since theyre down there anyways

They checked me when they did that test too. It was the first time they checked me for dilation & I was only 36 weeks.

Same here! And then I swear I spotted for like 5 days (really really really light colored) and lost my mucous plug shortly after it too (which they said could happen). I was thinking dang, lots going on this week! Now over a week later and Im back to nothing, lol. I swear, getting checked is just torture.....all it does it gets your hopes up, lol!

I spotted for the whole day but definitely not 5 days   They told me you're only supposed to spot for the first 24-48 hours. I lost my plug too though. But, i've went in two times after that and both times ive still only been dilated a cm and last week I finally made a LITTLE improvement with being effaced 50% but, nothing too exciting!  I had BH cramps after being checked the first time too! It was horrible. The last two times though I havent spotted or had BH but, they were different doctors every time so maybe that had something to do with it?! Hopefully this Thursday they'll tell me something like.. im dilated 4 cms and completely effaced lol. I had a dream last night thats what they said but I probably shouldnt be getting my hopes up!

Well I basically only spotted for one day, but then it was like (TMI) my discharge was like brownish tinted. I talked to my dr and he said that was fine and normal as long as it wasn't red. I want to get my hopes up, because Im ready to be done, but on the other hand, I really dont want to go toooo early. I want this little man to be ready to come out too ya know?   I wont get checked again until 38 weeks, next week, but im still sooooo curious!
I also had BH after getting checked.....for a few days even. Now....nothing! lol
