When your baby was realeased from the hosptial were they put on any special formula to help gain weight? If so what kind?

My godson was 4 months premature.. They put him on Enfamil Enfacare. And when we made him bottles, Instead of one scoop for every 2 ounces it was one scoop for every 50 ml.

I used Similac Neosure on my preemie son..

pregestimill ...pre digested with all that extra good stuff to help him grow...only from a pharmacy..with prescription

That is what Paige is on but we make the formula the normal way. She is gaining weight like crazy we're going to see if the pediatrician keeps her on this higher-calorie formula much longer!

My daughter was on enfamil enfacare mixed to 24 cal/oz till she was 6 months. My son was on it for 2 months and just takes regular formula now.

My son also takes Pregestimill i'm only able to get it at one store. I will find out tomorrow if he will stay on it any longer.

me too i live in queens ny i have to goto brooklyn to get it! its a hassle ... did he have stomach issues?

My daughter just got nestle good start. But she started having problems with it, so now she's on similac soy. She was 36 weeks btw. She's 3 weeks tomorrow and a whopping 7 pounds already!

My son was born at 32 weeks and he was on similac neosure and now he is 1 year old and is just getting off of Similac Isomil Advanced.

My baby was put on enfacare enfamil lipil for premature and low birth weight its the 22 calorie. She has been gaining weight really good.

He had stomach problems, his stomach was not letting any formula to be able to digest. But he is doing good now, he has to stay on for six more months.He now weighs 14lbs 12oz as of yesterday.

I have a little girl who is almost two months old, shewas 8 weeks early...she in still on Enafmil Enfacare.

my baby girl is almost 2 months since birth, gestational age she is only 37 or 38 weeks. She has been doing very good on the enfamil enfacare. When she was born she weighed 2lbs 10.7ounces, now she weighs 5lbs 15ounces as of yesterday. I have had her home for two weeks tomorrow.

Enfacare...but it's been a little bit tough on the belly so I have been using a little gentlease too plus the enfacare to bring on the extra calories.
