Switching from depo to the pill

So its been awhile since I have been on the pill.. I decided to use depo after I had my daught and I only used it for 3 months (1 shot) the day i was ment to have my 2 dose I decided to go in a dif. directon and choose the pill. and ive been on it for less than a week... however having been use to depo I realized id forgotton o take the pill (afer my guy and i had finished doing out deed.) Idk forsure how this works, but if I take 2 pills does it cancel it out the missing pill? and also does anyone know how long the depo shot will reside in my system for? I called a nurse, but they were busy so i left a message & I am waiting to get a call back.

If you missed your pill yesterday yes you can just take two today. If you have missed 3 days you should open a new pack

Also I put my pills next to my tooth brush so that as soon as I'm done I see them and take one or you can set a timer on your phone to remind yourself to take one
