Quoting Rebecca Hasbrook:"
Quoting The Doctor:" I'm confused. They tested and said it wasn't ... [snip!] ... then she did something else and told me it said no.. but that they still needed to check my levels. Trust me I'm confused too."
Quoting Rebecca Hasbrook:" So went ahead on into labor and delivery.. I'm positive that was my water breaking this morning bc it ... [snip!] ... I left.. my question is has this happened to anyone else and how long would you wait before going back, if still leaking..?"
Quoting Rebecca Hasbrook:"
Quoting Sandra D loving my J's:" I had fluid leaking to the point ... [snip!] ... and down my leg.. its quite a bit.. that's what makes me think its water and not just discharge.. of course I'm no doctor.."my neighbor had the same thing happen and the test strips showed negative for her water breaking but it was incorrect b/c she had a doctor appt alittle over 24 hours later and they did a swab and looked under a microscope and sure enough her water had broken like she thought b/c she said when she got how she would have small leaks all day long. They went ahead and induced even though she was at risk of infection since at this point it was past 24 hours. She had her little one 5 hours later with the use of pitocin. If you water had broken I don't see why they can't us cervadil to help with dilation and then use pitocin rather than go straight to a c-section.
