Yup, pretty much show's how immature some people can be. Doesn't matter that the person is half of your child.

No one wants to be parted from their hard earned cash..male or female. Support of a child is a delicate subject, and if it enrages the non-custodial parent, let it be handled through the FOC(friend of court) in your state.

Because that means he HAS to. If he worked it out with you, he could easily just not pay and you'd have no recourse.

Don't get suckered into a bad situation. No one wants to go through the courts...easier to neglect responsibility that way. If you don't have a court order, there is no way for you to enforce it. And don't feel bad. Your child is entitled to that money. And speaking from experience, the amount will likely be so minimal he shouldn't miss it anyway! My ex husband barely pays enough support in one month to cover swimming lessons, let alone any of our child's real needs.

Yea. Which is why I'm going through the courts :-D.
Not going to feel sorry for him because he broke up with me in not such a nice way. After 6 years I deserved better. Whatever. Guess I'll tell him he'll get over it just like he told me I'll get over him lol.
he's worried about if he gets a new job he'll still be paying me 800 some since he makes 28$ now.

exactly they dont want to support their kids , typical guy!! and hey hes gotten off for 3 years who gives a smurf how pissed he is !! TAKE HIM TO COURT!!!!
