So I have until December but I have the boy named picked out "Michael Tyler." That was pretty easy b/c I'm married to a Michael...and he comes from a line of Michaels. But if its a boy, I'm calling him Tyler. Atleast thats the plan right now. I also love Ethan Oakley but maybe that will come later. But as for girls, I'm unsure and Mike is NO help! Mike is irish and I am irish/cuban so I wanted something that fit... What do you all think?

Oh and our last name is O'Shaughnessy so they have to go with that! I picked short names so my child can learn to write his/her name before junior high!

I've got to say, I definitely DON'T like Leah Maria... the 'a' sound at the end of both names is a bit much. Good Luck choosing though... there are some pretty names to choose from.

Do they have to be irish? Since ur part Cuban have u considered a latin name? I live in South Florida surrounded by Cubans and other latin countries and they come up with such beautiful latin names! Why does a name have "to go with the other names?" And do you have to name the boy Michale just cause Daddy is named Michael? Lol I told my boyfriend that a "junior" is out of the question from the get-go.

Me and my boyfriend made up the first names, but the middle names should have meaning to them (in our opinion) so we chose family members for the middle names. They dont go together at all but at least they have meaning.

Yeah I'm trying to convince him if its a boy to go with Tyler Michael, BradyJames or Ethan Oakleyso he atleast has his own first name but we'll see. I love spanish names but its hard to find one that my husband likes. So far it looks like Emma Grace is winning. But I also am thinking Liannah is cute. Liannah Abitha maybe, my grandma is Abitha. Maria is my middle name and it comes from my dad's side of the family (the cuban side)...idk...u have any examples of pretty cuban names?

I am having the exact opposite problem. He really wants to name it Christopher Todd after him if it's a boy, but I'm not so sure about the Junior thing. I have a girl name picked out Lillian Claire (Lily). That was easy peasy. Can't think of a little boy though. Ethan Oakley and Abithaare really cute. Love the Emma Grace!!! Good Luck!

Yeah I'm having second thoughts about the Michael thing now. My family is really against it and I can't say that I love the idea of living w/ two Michaels, the mail and everything is going to get so aggravating...so maybe I'll switch to Tyler Michael...idk. I love my two other boy names. Why do guys have to name babies after themselves? lol. Lillian Claire is adorable, btw. Emma Grace seems to be winning for me right now but I also like Lianna Abitha so idk. Good thing there is still time!
