Question about conception

I have a friend who has 2 cute little boys already.. and I know shes beel DYING to have a little girl. Question is, tracking your ovulation and temps, does it matter the temp and if you BD before or after ovulation is there a greater chance at getting a girl? OR is it all up to chance (The daddys spermies)?

Im trying to help her find the best way to get the girl shes always wanted!

The sperm determines the sex.

Tell her to tell her SO to eat Bon Bons and Lemons, and watch soap opera's!!!!!

Supposedly having sex farther from ovulation leads to a girl. Like having sex 3-5 days beforehand. female sperm live longer but male sperm swim faster. It is still a chance though.

We have been doing the Shettles Method for a girl. All my losses have been before we could tell the gender though, so I couldn't say how well it works.

I know that the method for boys is right that though. For my boys, anyway. Lol.

Awwww! Im hoping she gets the girl though. Ive had many losses as well and didnt know the genders. Im happy to have one boy and one girl.. im on the fence on finding out what this one is. My husband wants to know.. part of me does, part of me wants a surprise.

That is how I feel as well!

My high risk dr told me that the more boys or girls you have in a row, the bigger chance you have of having that same gender baby the next pregnancy. For me, I've had 4 boys in a row (2 1st tri losses that I never knew the gender of), so she told me not to expect to see any pink ever. lol   Some men make a higher percentage of one type of sperm over the other. I'm guessing this means Dh's sperm is permanently blue at this point.
