ok so my dauhters going to be here relativley soon and the one name i really like is jayden but when i tell most people the name they respond with "isn't that a boys name?" it is unisex but which gender do you think it fits better?

I always thought that Jayden was a girls name, I think that the name is too overused and you are going to be calling out her name and both boys and girls will be turning around to see if you were talking to them.

I like Jayden for a boy, but Jaydan for a girl. It is pronounced (sp) the same I just like a girly spelling. Either way it is cute. My little girl is Jada.

I say it sounds like a girls name. For some reason, everytime you mention what youre naming your child, someone always has something to say. That drives me nuts! I'm having a boy and we plan to name him Rylan Andrew. But everytime except for a select few, will say something negative about it. GRRRR!!!! But we like it and I'm excited...

Jayden was actually on my girls name list. It is unisex but I think it suits a girl better.

Well I know five little boys with this name and 2 girls so it is more of a boy name but I think it sounds great on both and sound girlier than other unisex names that have gotten popular like Jordan!

Maybe you could girl up the spelling a little!@

my daughter's name is Jaedyn and I wouldn't change it for the world. And I frankly don't care that there are a lot of boys and girls with the same name. It's not that big of a deal...

my 10 year old girl is Jadyn!!!I love it for both but I think Jayden is more of a boys spelling.I like Jadyn or Jaidyn or Jaedyn for a girl very cute!!!Im glad to see people still use the name Its been awhile since I named my daughter that..

My five year old son is named Jaden but I've seen it for girls as well, usually with the "y" in the middle. I think it's a great name either way (not that I'm biased).  

Ive only heard of it for a boys name. But its cute for a girl.. maybe more girly spelling like jaedyn
