i know what to do?

so i was engaged but recently just broke it off because my "fiance" has a SLIGHT drinking problem. he's never been physically abusive but has been verbally. i love him with my whole heart and he keeps telling me he wants us back (me and our daughter) but ughhhh i know i need to say NO but i cant! i love him too much to let go and risk the chance of him meeting someone else.

anyone else been in this situation or have any advice...? i think i know i should do but i cant bring myself to do it!!

You have to make your own choice on this one but I can offer my own input. I would seriously think about this. You never know if the verbal is going to turn physical. We all get mad sometimes but you can't just go and open a can of verbal whoop ass on someone. Do you think he would ever hit you or God forbid, your little one?

For your sake, and the sake of your little one tell him that if he wants you back that badly that he needs to get help! Even if it is a "slight" problem it has the potential to turn into a bigger one. JMO. Good luck!

he would never physically hurt us. he's too afraid of my dad possibly KILLING him lol!

I would voice my thoughts and concerns with him and see if he changes. If he doesn't than I say kick him to the curb. You don't deserve to be treated like your a nothing.

What does love have to do with it. If he said he loved you and beat your ass everyday does that really mean he loves you. Action speak louder than words and until he is willing to change than you should not go back.

lol noone with respect for anyone calls people derrogatory names even in the moment-my fiance have had some heated arguments but not once has he even called me a bitch..its not a good way to fight.
