I'm so confused!

posted 12th May
I know there have been several posts on the BPA free bottles. I have already bought two Playtex Drop In Systems (2 sets of 3) these are what they look like. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2408961 I read on the playtex website that the bottles contain BPA but the liners and nipples do not. So are these safe to use?? I am planning on breastfeeding, GOD WILLING!

I know a lot of people who used those bottles but that was before the recalls came out! And all of the BPA concerns.

Yes they are safe. The milk does not touch the out side bottle.

They have not done any recalls on bpa bottles. They are all still sold.

i think they are safe but what bothers me about drop ins is #1 you are always buying refills and #2 thoes used bags go in the landfill. you are just throwing your money away and adding to polution.

I don't mind buying the refills that way I know it's sterile every time I will be feeding him. I've already bought several liners to keep stock. I hope he takes to the bottles well. As for the polution, we recycle.
