Nesting

posted 18th Jul '12
My daughter. Comes home next week and I just spent 4+ hours getting her room ready and putting up her new stuff, new bed etc.
And then I decided to go through all of her toys and clean them, reorganize them and move them into her bedroom and out of the playroom, which will be the new baby's room.

I also went through all of her clothes and put the ones she doesn't fit into a storage tub in the garage!

Feeling super accomplished. Now my daughters room looks awesome and the baby room is empty and ready to be filled!

Nesting is awesome till the adrenaline wears off and then you hurt so bad especially when you are 36 weeks pregnant like me!

Yeah I had a pinched nerve in my lower back about halfway through the cleaning but I pushed through it. I'm sure tomorrow I will pay for that!

I definitely wanted to get it out of the way before I got farther along and before my daughter gets home next week, or else it never would've gotten done.

I totally know how that is. I hurt so bad right now but I really wanted to clean and feel less anxious about not having room for the crib in my room. At least now i feel a bit better now all I have to worry about is packing a hospital bag for my son and i due august 16 and time is passing by too damn fast!

Yeah I always try and get everything done ASAP! I start school August 13th, so I'll be extra busy until November 30th when classes are over. I'm due November 26th, so hopefully she stays in an extra 4-5 days at least so I can get through final exams lol
The last month or two has flown by and I know the rest of the pregnancy will too, I still feel a tad anxious because we haven't bought anything yet!

don't know weather it is an early sign of labor or not but I have nested off and on since I was about 16 weeks pregnant. I am now 36 weeks pregnant and due August 16. I do know that hormones make a woman do the nesting thing more than anything also that natural instict to want to prepare is part of our DNA!

Yeah I've heard it's an early sign of labor but that a lot of women start nesting way early in their pregnancy. I nested at 34-35ish weeks with my first and didn't go into labor until my due date.
