Quoting Stephii Livengood:" I want my fiance to get more excited about having this baby but he just doesnt seem interested in it ... [snip!] ... who is 2 but that doesnt mean he shouldnt be excited about our son. What are some ways i can get him more excited about it. "The reality is this: Most men don't get excited until AFTER the baby gets here. I spent my entire first pregnancy worried that my husband was disappointed that we were having a girl and all of my fears and frustrations were forgotten the moment I saw him cry after she was born. Guys don't go through the physical and emotional changes we do. We become moms the minute we find out we're pregnant, but they don't really become a dad until they see their little one and hold them. Give him some time, try to find ways to include him like having him help you pick out the homecoming outfit at the store or decorating the nursery...even let him tease you about the names you like that he can't stand, all of these things will help him connect, but I'm sure it won't be in the way you'd like. Just know that he will come around and be excited, but it will likely be when reality is staring up at him from that little warming bed they put baby in after they are born to check their vitals.
Quoting Leigh Riggins:" be careful though my baby daddy got too excited and now people are saying i need to be careful around him"
Quoting Leigh Riggins:" hes controlling and possessive and hes an alcoholic on top of that..in the beggining he threatened to make me to court just because he wanted to"
