How old is she? My daughter loved being carried until she was old enough to crawl. Its easier for them to investigate things. She also had to be elevated when she slept because she had reflux for a little while.

I just looked at her last post and she says her baby is two weeks old.

OP you cant break her of that right now. Newborns cry because they need something. Even if its just some comfort. She could be gassy also.

That sounds completely normal

You're not spoiling her at all

A 2 week old is not spoiled. She is scared and totally unaware of her surroundings and what is going on around her. She needs to be held so she can feel the comfort of you. You are her safety blanket right now.

Worry about breaking her of bad habits later on, and enjoy the fact that she wants to be held by you.
Get a wrap and wear her.

My daughter is 8 months old and still wants to be held most of the time. When she was 2 weeks old i was always holding her and co sleeping. You had the baby, hold her if thats what she wants shes a BABY! Alls she knows is mommy and thats where she feels comfortable. Enjoy it, it will be gone before you know it and they wont want to be held.
