yeah i saw that shit and it made me so mad.. I told my boyfriend about it and it made him pissed off too... It just tells teenage girls that if they do get pregnant that their lives will be over so they should get an abortion or try to abandon or kill their child, like that 14 year old girl from texas who tried to flush her baby down the toilet... ugh makes me sick

I watched a bunch of the psa's on their site, and I didn't really like any of them...one I didn't understand was guys playing music in a band, probably in someone's basement, and at the end you hear a guy say the same thing about messing up his life with a pregnancy...

First of all...NOTHING changes in a guys' life unless he wants it to...and here's a huge news flash...YOU CAN BE IN A BAND AND HAVE A KID OR EVEN 4
OR 5!! I am in a band and am a mom of one with one on the way!!!

I understand we don't want a bunch of unexperienced, unstable, irresponsable parents running around out there...but I don't see psa's for trashy parents of any age who leave their kids at home every night and go partying, do drugs at their homes...OR psa's for ALLLLLL the millions of children in the foster care system...maybe they are just trying to avoid these things...I know...I just am easily offended...and I'm not even a teen parent...but I am also PRO-LIFE and if teens get the idea in their head that their pregnancy will mess up their life they will most likely be more inclined to get an ABORTION. Does any of this make any sense?

I think they are more inclined to not get pregnant in the first place. Everyone understands how shitty abortion is (ever the pro-choicers such as myself) but as much as is sucks, it sucks even more to hear about some baby being abused because some girl felt she had no way out(not talking about anyone here, just in general). If you can prevent that by making it sound horrible then what's the problem. Yes, some teen moms step up, but the majority doesn't. It's not a joke, and if you cane make that clear with a cheesy commercial them more power to you. If you understand the underlying message them maybe you can handle a baby but your not the majority. Most teens don;t think past their next party or get together, or whatever you want to call it. BC is NOT the foremost thing on their mind. Male or female.....

The quote "this pregnancy isnt going to ruin my life" is true for some How i see it from what i belive in life is what you make it you can have a god life with a 4 yr old child at 18 or a shitty one life reflects on your actions and ill never blame anyone for the sit i been threw this whole ppregnancy cause i brought it on myself I was offered money for and abortion i said no my gradmother thinks a baby will ruin my teen life well if it does i chose to let it cause this is my baby and it deserves the life Im going to provide for it im a grown ass women at 14 and dont regret NOTHINg ive don ein the past 8 months I love my babys fater and i love my baby so there you go [=
