18 and want to have a baby but have a few issues?

Well I actually found this place through a friend. She's an old school friend. She's 19 and engaged and I used to admire her up until this point. She's always been ahead of me... And I've always been behind... im a bit behind it seems socially. But I guess I don't mind. I'm a good girl. And that's my problem. How can I stay a good virtuous girl and still get pregnant? I'm still a virgin. I wanted to keep it that way until I'm 22. And even then I wanted to wait even longer... until I find a guy who is willing to wait. I sometimes think I'll end up like lolita jones. But I want to have kids early still. I always wanted not to be old and ugly when I have kidss I want to have some youth in me when my kids are grown like my mother does...I hate the dumpy old mom look. I have no college goals. I think by 19 or 20 I should be independent enough to have a child of my own. But it's just having to make one with the opposite sex isn't what I'm interested in really... I don't have friends or go to parties my younger years were stolen from me sadly but that's how the cookie crumbles. I'm also almost 19 in the fall. So I feel like it's overdue that I get pregnant. Then I think of how behind I am and how much of a good girl type of girl I've been and it means a lot to ever change that as sex as a young adult would make feel less than what I'm worth idk. Btw I'm sorta dating for 3 months this guy but we're not serious and sex isn't really an option let alone a child. Any advice has anyone else felt this way before they became preg?

18 is too young to have a baby. I had my daughter at 21 and I still felt that was too young. Wait until the right guy comes around, wait until marriage. Raising a child alone isn't fun.

if you dont want to have sex then why do you want a baby? your younger years were stolen? you are still young go have fun while you can! dont worry about having a baby

From this post alone I can tell you are not ready to have kids. Wait until you're older and more mature and with someone you actually want to have a child with. Go to college or vocational school. There's nothing glamorous about being being a young single mother who can't find a job that pays more than minimum wage.

Well this post seems legit.

My advice is that you should wait. You're so young right now and kids are A LOT of work. I have only one kid and my hands are so full.
Wait a few years.. enjoy your youth because you can never get it back.

Im starting to see a pattern of 18 year olds wanting babies today.
Trust me OP, 19 is a hard age to get pregnant. Barely a legal adult, still not old enough to drink, and no real life experience yet. Don't want a baby just because your friends have them.

You want a baby because your friend is "ahead " of you? For smurfs sake, they aren't dolls. How stupid are you?

So you want to keep up with your friend? You should stick to your original plan of waiting.

I was 21, almost 22 when I had sex for the first time ever. I was 22 when I had my first child. Key thing here is to WAIT. I love my daughter with every fiber of my being, but I'd rather have waited a bit longer before conceiving her.

I had my first at 18. Wait. You're not going to be "old and ugly" in a few years. Reading your post proves how not ready you are for a child. Not trying to be rude, just honest.

I was 19 when I had my son and though I don't regret him I wish I would have waited. It's hard.. And it's not just hard when they're babies, it's hard forever!
