re: scraping of membranes?

I'm gonna ask my midwife to do it at my appointment tomorrow. Sweet relief please!  

It is great relief to see something happening! I have had false labor for two weeks tomorrow.. girls are stubborn!

Congratulations on your bloody show (never thought I'd say that to someone).
I'm definitely asking for my membranes to be stripped tomorrow.

i had some show last night, and a little this morning! i am super excited. i go to the doctor's tomm. so i'm hoping he'll do something to make me happy lol. good luck ladies!

  well congrats to all you mamas! I know it sounds crazy but it is all exciting! all our hard work keeping these babys safe is soon to pay off!

Two weeks ago I was in false labor for 3 days! Contractions 5 mins apart, 60 secs duration, they even caught it on the NST. I thought it was time!
Then they just stopped cold turkey.
I have a stubborn little boy.

ah kids! I watched my contractions on the monitors last week.... so frustrating! organize already! I think it is all to irratate us tell it is time to push then we have some anger to seriously push at!

I have had to be at the hospital 3 times so far and have numerous problems w/ her as far as pain which blows sometimes.

Wooooohooo! I had mine done with all the kiddies. It didn't ever directly put me into labor, but it sure sped things up!  You're gonna have that baba any time now!!

well good thing it is not putting me directly into labor just the fun stuff to look at! Nathans b-day is today... happy 13th birthday day buddy here is your sister! HA!

sometimes...i had it done 4 weeks in a row with my first and it never worked just really uncomfy...
my second they did it on christmas day..i was dilated 2 and 70% effaced then again on the 27th i was 2 and 90% effaced...but she also stretched my cervix manually to a 4 so they would keep me..i had her like 4 hours later..so i am not sure if it was the stripping or the stretching...but i am gonna have them do it tommorrow at my appt

With my last pregnancy I had mine stripped twice, once at 38 weeks and again at 39weeksand it never helped me. I ended up being 11 days over due .
