I'm sorry to hear she passed away   And i'm honestly not sure who to ask for or what to call at the hospital

If you look up your hospital online, it should have some kind of patient services or general information number, they'd at least point you in the right direction of who to talk to, just tell them youre calling for test results for your daughter. I think sometimes if the results are negative, they tend to put those on the back burner. But if they still don't contact you within the next couple days I'd call, cause like I said, we would've never known if my ob hadnt requested it.

First off congrats and what a beautiful little girl!!! My sister had Down syndrome as does my best friend (more like my little sister.)

I can't fully tell with your daughter as the eyes look like she may have but only when they're closed. For me I always can tell by the ears as they more often then not stick out but that's with trisomy 21, it's harder to tell with mosaic Down syndrome.

Thank you for being so open minded about your daughter possibly being even more special then you thought, it's people like you that give me hope in this world.

Well we got the results back for those of you who are keeping up with us, she does have Trisomy 21. Thank you all for your sweet comments! They really put a smile on my face while we were waiting for the results <3

Watch this, I am sure you will love it. One of my favorite lines is, "Mom said he had something called Down Syndrome. But I could never figure out what the Hell he was down about, he didn't look depressed to me."

How are you doing with the news? I know some people really struggle with it. I'm glad going into this you had a positive outlook
