My Labor Story.

Ok so, I can't really remember everything real good, but I will try my best.

I went in at 4pm on may 6. They made me change, got a urine sample, put my iv in & all that good stuff. We waited on the doctor & when he got there & checked me I was 1 cm. He put the cytotec pill in my cervix & nothing really happened except slight cramping. So at some odd random hour in the early morning they put in another pill. This pill got things started, it induced labor on its own & I didn't even have to get pitocin. So I labored for a while until I just couldn't handle the pain anymore without crying so they gave me something in my iv to take the edge off the pain, which it didn't, it just made me go completely OUT of it. About 45min. after that I got the epi, which was my saving grace, seriously. I was 4cm right after the epi, so they told me to go to sleep & they would come wake me & check me every hour. So an hour later they checked me & I was fully dilated & ready to push  They had to let me labor for 30min longer to back off on my epi meds so I could feel enough to push. At 12 on the dot I began to push & at 1:19pm my baby girl took her first breath  I tore pretty bad, but everything is healing really well & very quickly.

Oh yeah, everyone always says women in labor are like the devil, but everyone in the room with me said I was really sweet. I even wanted to hug terrell & cry on his shoulder during my contractions, LOL.
