cramping after abortion

Who had bad cramps after your abortion? I only had my abortion this morning, had some ibuprofen at the hospital and its wearing off now. My cramping is so bad it feels like i am miscarrying (i had a miscarraige in 2009). I just realized i am out of any kind of pain killer so my hubby is going to get me some in an hour or so before he goes to work. But wow...it hurts :'( i guess i deserve it though.

I wouldn't go that far!!....You did what you felt was right for yourself and your family. there is NO shame in that!!!!!
as for the cramping.....maybe a heating pad? the only thing I have to compare is bad PMS cramps....i'm sure yours is a ton worse. but it might help.

You don't "deserve" anything. It's very common after an abortion. Just rest up, and keep with the meds when you get them.

You dont deserve anything. You made the right choice for you and your family.

It just hurts so bad i want to cry. Earlier today it felt like bad period cramps but now its much worse. It goes in waves....like contractions when you're in labour. Like how my miscarraige felt. My baby was 11 weeks 4 days...

Hun, your uterus is going back to normal size. It hurts, I know. Do you have a heating pad or anything until the pain meds get there?

I do... Will try getting up to look for it. The nurse said i may have little to no bleeding and light cramps. I must be a wimp cause these are awful cramps and lots of bleeding
