I miss the old times..

How often do you go out to have a little fun? Or even just to the movies? I have not been out in so long that I feel like I wouldnt even know how to have fun. Not to mention I have never been to one single club before lol idk whether its just the whole post partum phase making me so emotional but I was looking back at old pictures when I had a thing called ”friends” and I just started crying like a little baby. Ehhh anyways just venting.

Kids change things. It's just another part of life. You can go out and party again once they can be your dd lol. At least that's what my mom told me haha

I'm not a teen mom, but I go out without my daughter maybe once a year. Otherwise, I plan family friendly activities.

I haven't been to the movies since 2010 I believe. We do try to get out as a family a lot, enjoy eating at restaurants or fast food. But I've never been to a club or a bar to drink before either.

I do have to say I miss the old times too.

Usually when ever I go out I take DS unless DH and I are having a date night which are few and far between.

At first it was really sad that I lost all of my "friends" after my son was born. But I realized that if they were ever really "friends" they'd still be around. I have a few friends and they all have kids so it's easier to hang out with them. I have figured out that my friendships don't last too long if the other person doesn't have kids.

I've never been to a club, a party, prom, etc. I used to be sad about it but now I don't see the point in being sad over it anymore. It still sucks sometimes though when I want to go to the mall or something just to get away from DS for a bit.

Yeah exactly. I made alot of friends at school but they never had kids those friendships stayed strictly school related due to the fact that they always wanted me to get a baby sitter. Now I have a few friends with kids which does make it easier. I also never attended prom I never even had a graduation my diploma came through the mail.

I have been going out once a week for a date night with SO since DS was born. It keeps us sane. Children change things. You don't get to do what you want.. It's hard sometimes but it's life.

I go out once a week.

Honestly it makes you a better parent to get a break once in a while.

Yes that is true. Me and my husband used to go out once a week when it was just our 21 month old. But once I found out I was pregnant again it just stopped and shes here now and I feel like I havent had a break in forever.
