dr told me today placenta is covering cervix. may cause c -

She said it could change positions... as anyone had this, or any advice. I really was hoping for another natural birth !!

How far along are you? I'm in the same situation.

Placenta Previa...

I had that when I was pregnant with my son. The placenta had moved by the time I was about 17 weeks.

I had a slight case at the beginning of my pregnancy with my daughter, but my placenta ended up moving way out of the way. If you're early enough along, chances are good that it'll move.

at my 19 week scan they said that the placenta appears low lying so i was adviced by my midwife not to have sex and not to stress about, also to get ambulance cover just in case i hemorrhaged. we had to have an ultrasound at 34 weeks and found the placenta had moved out of the way.....

its mostly a waiting game and i have heard from some ppl that thiers didnt move til a week before going into labour so it all depends on your body. just relax and enjoy bubs... you still have plenty of time, hope it all goes well for you just stay positive.

I had that when they scanned me at 22 weeks, i am now 33 weeks and the placenta has moved from being 1.3cm to the cervix to 8cm to the cervix. Give it time, you might be lucky like me
