re: Does anyone else find that Boy names are harder than girls?

For Me boys are SOOOO much easier we had a bunch of possibles for boy adn nothing for a girl, we found out 2 weeks ago that we are having a girl adn cant think of a single name that we both are happy with...lol but two of my favs we had was Collin Hunter or Devan James but we get to use neither.....lol...my friend has a little boy named Drake oh and someone on here is naming there boy DAwson and I like all of those,,,lol

Yeah, any day, really   Although I wasn't dilated AT ALL last week LOL My hubbs was Baby Boy Pullin for 5 days when he was born!

i didnt have a name for my son till i had him in my arms and then it just hit me and i knew his name i didnt name him , he named himself!! and his name is perfect for him

We havent decided on a girls name yet. For some reason Charles and I think we are having a boy. Strange because I am only 7weeks. Our girls names are Oliva, Gracie, Ava, Emma, Elizabeth, Sarah. We have a couple more but the list is at home. What are your boy picks or girl picks?

I like Devin and Shane. I know someone named everyone of those names.. thats another problem. LOL.

I find the exact opposite is true! Girl's names are proving difficult to come up with.
As for boys names, our son is Grayson Isaiah. My boyfriend is Kevin Edward, my brother is Michael Gage, and an adorable little boy that I know is Geoffrey Tyler.
Names we considered for our son included: Ian James, David Isaiah, Sawyer James, Dominic Chase, Braeden Michael, and Brody Alexander.

It took me and my fiance FOREVER to decide on a baby boy name. He was convinced the ultrasound was a baby girl giving a thumbs up. We decided on Ian Serafino. serafino is an old Italian family name. I looked at numerous baby name web sites and various magazines before I decided. GOOD LUCK.

I LOVE Serafino as the middle name. What nice familial ties and culture!  

We're naming our little boy Stratton Pierce. We also liked Benji, Sebastian, Dane, Rowan, Sawyer, Julian, Davis and Alton.

Our hardest thing was that both sides of our families have TONS of boys names, and it's hard to find something different (that won't get him teased at school for). There's John, James, Jack, Jerry, Jim, Josh, Jayson, Jeff, Mike, Trent, Colton, Brad, Ben, Randy, Curtis, Bruce, Dale, Mark, Jon, Terry, Gary, William, Eugene, Larry, Alan, Denis, Jesse, Samuel, Ethan, Isaiah, Noah, Levi, Fred, Floyd, Andrew, Aaron, Zachary, Houston, Christopher, Scott, Joseph, Russell, Grant, David... see the problem?

Oh man this is my third boy I thought it would be easy I had a name picked out Sullivan and now my hubby doesnt really care for it too much i really like it but alot of people including him dont like it as a first name ..

So now I think i have to start over.. so the first one that poped in my head is Justin that is easy and cute maybe he will like that .

I TOTALLY know what you mean! I would like to TTC in the near future, and for the past 6 years we've come up with names together, and I ALWAYS seem to have a bunch of girl names, but little to NO boys names, if any at all!!

Yeah that is the same thing I was thinking. But I was told at 12 weeks from a ultrasound its a boy so I have 2 boy names I like picked out. No girl names. So I get a ultrasound June 2 unless I get a surprise saying its a girl then I will have to starting thinking of girl names.
