Breast Implants

Ok, so I have pretty much decided that I would like to get breast implants after I am done having children because my boobs keep getting smaller after each baby. But my brother in law (dont ask me why he knows, I guess my husband has a big mouth) says that the only reason women get breast implants is because they want men to look at their boobs. Now, I cant really decide if thats true or not. I would like them because I have always been insecure about my itty-bitty boobies. But, I wonder what other people think. Do women only get boobs to get attention or do you believe that some women really just want them to feel better about themselves? I'm really on the fence on this one because I can see what they are saying. Just needing honest opinions...

I think a lot of women get them because they are insecure about the size of their breasts... Although I'm sure some women do get them for the attention I think a majority of women get them to feel better about themselves....

Well, your married..have three kids.
Why would you WANT other guys looking at your boobs.
Maybe, if you were still young, and not married and stuff.
but, it seems to me as if you would just want them to make yourself feel better
and of course, you would want attention from your husband. !

I personally don't have a problem in this dept (I'm a DD), but I do think some women get them to feel better about themselves. Having breasts is part of being a woman, and for some women, not having much makes them feel like less of a woman. Now, women who purposely get oversized implants (like Pamela Anderson) I think do it for attention. It is a personal decision, and what others think shouldn't affect what you decide. I would talk it over with your hubby (his opinion being the only other to consider) and go from there.

No, thats what I am saying. I dont want attention from other men, but I am afraid that is what everyone will think I am getting them for. So I am trying to find the general opinion.

i would say women get them for both reasons. If you get a modest enlargement, i would agree and say it was for personal reasons. If you go Pamela, i would say it's for show!

Well, honestly, I've always been against breast implants...for myself. I think some girls do get them to gain attention from others, but not all. That is a generalization. There are many reasons women choose to get implants and feeling better about yourself is a major reason! If you're insecure about your weight, you work out; if you don't like yourself with glasses, you get contacts; if you're not happy with your boobs, get augmentation! This is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what my once precious boobies will look like afterwards, but if they're ugly/ultra saggy or anything, then I think I may consider a boob job. But, whoever thinks ALL women get implants to "impress" men is an idiot.

He doesnt really care one way or the other. He said they are my boobs and I can do what I want. But, I think he would have fun playing with them! I just wonder, do breast implants make me a joke? Will his coworkers make comments about the fact that I got boobs? Will his family think I'm skanky? Ugh, I probably shouldnt be caring about that, but I do.

i have implants....i got them when i was 19..and i dont regret them one bit, i did it for myself, you can finance them through capital one lol, id say if it makes YOU feel attractive and pretty then get them! best 4500 i ever spent

I think most women get them to feel better about their looks. A friend of mine was completely flat, so she got implants. They aren't big, just a full B, but now she said she feels like a woman instead of a little girl.

See thats me. I'm a C right now, but I know when I lose all the baby weight I am going to be a small B, and it sucks because I have a big ol' J-Lo booty and I feel lop-sided or something! Maybe I can transfer some of my butt to my boobs. That would be nice. I'm glad to know that there are women out there who dont think that its trashy.

I would love to get implants. It would make me feel good about myself! It would make me feel sexy and hot. My boobs are pretty nice now with a bra on but omg I hate the shape of them and i hate the way they look.

I'm a small B right now and I'm nursing my baby too. I think when I'm done having kids I'll want to go to a small C. Clothes just don't fit right when you have nothing there. It took me having kids to get to a B and I'm guessing I'll go back to an A eventually. My hubby will always love my how I am but I think he would have fun with bigger onestoo.
I think its perfectly fine. Its for you. As for everyone saying or thinking things, maybe just don't tell them. I'm sure some people know already but its really none oftheir business what you do. If its not a huge change from what you are right now they might not even be able to tell. Might think its a better push up bra.

I have always had smaller breasts then I would want. I want breast implants to feel comfortable about my body. My husband likes them just the way they are but I don't. Its not because I want people looking at them its because "I" want to look at them and be happy about my body. Same reason I get tattoos and piercings. Because its what I want and what I like.I dont want huge boobs. I just want to be able to wear a nice bikini and not have to worry too much about the top coming off or loose.
