Some advice..PLEASE!

Im debating on whether or not i should be induced this pregnancy...I was induced w/ my daugther 3 days before my due date..I was 3cm dialated and 90%effaced so my doc offered to go ahead w/ an induction the very next day..( i just wanted her out!! lol) well for this pregnancymy docwill be going on vacation from June 25th until July 5th, (im due june 27th) which means he will not be around..which is a little scary.
So im wondering if i should be induced before he goes on vacation?? or just go w/ the flow? He already said we could do an induction before he leaves...but now im not sure if i want to do that again..people keep telling me that it's a much stronger labor when u get induced...(which means more painful, i guess)
Im open to any suggestions or ideas! Im kinda freaking out on what to do...should i wait it out, or go w/ another induction????

It sounds like you just want that particular doctor to deliver your baby. I think that's perfectly normal because I want the same doctor that delivered my son to deliver this baby but I know it all just depends on which of the partners in his pratice are in L & D when she comes.
If that's case, and you're absolutely 100 % sure you want no other doctor then I say go for it. You can always get the epi if the pain gets too bad for you (if you want to go that route) but i didn't know being induced makes labor harder.

I would never ever voluntarily be induced again. It was way more painful than it should have been. Its up to you though, if you are comfortable being induced and you really want your doctor to deliver your baby than go ahead!

I would wait just because i would want everything natural i dont like the fact of being induced because if things dont go as fast as they want they are ready to do a c-section.

mi friend just had her baby and she was week over due and she asked to b induced and the doctor told her to wait a couple more days to see if he comes b/c induction is pretty much forcing the labor to start .. so id say it would b more painful..i would wait if i was you .. if you can handle it! i know if it was up to me i would probly get induced bc im already miserable.

well, this is my first baby but from according to our lamaze teacher and a few other friends getting induced seems to make the labor much,much more difficult/painful than if u just let it take its course. if there is no medical emergency i'd say just wait.
